International Affairs and Business (IAB)
Crystal Lake Middle offers a specialized curriculum that focuses on Engineering and Environmental Science or International Affairs and Business (IAB). Our programs are designed to promote academic excellence, creativity, and innovation in education while allowing students to develop expertise in their chosen field and gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
Our magnet programs are designed to challenge and engage students at all academic levels, pushing them to reach their full potential. We emphasize the importance of enhanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for success in today’s rapidly changing world.
We provide students with opportunities to engage in hands-on learning experiences and interdisciplinary projects, that allow students to develop the skills necessary to succeed in their future careers and endeavors. International Affairs and Business
In the International Affairs and Business (IAB) Magnet program, students learn a foreign language and take business classes to prepare them for work on a global scale. Through language skills and cultural immersion in Spanish, French, or Chinese, students gain real-world experience and make connections beyond the classroom.
Through the integration of technology in world language classes, scholars cultivate essential 21st century skills. Additionally, they engage in high school-level coursework and have the opportunity to earn high school credits.
