Welcome Back Dances
On Tuesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 17, Crystal Lake Middle will welcome back to school all of our students with a after school dance. The dances will be held in the Crystale Cafe which is on campus. The dances will be from 4 - 6 PM. Students must be in CLMS uniform and must have a wrist band on in order to attend. Wrist bands will be for sale during lunch times and at the door. Cost is $2.00 per person. Students will need to make arrangements to be picked up after the dance to return home.
Tuesday, September 16 will host our 6th graders
Wednesday, September 17 wll host our 7th and 8th graders.
PEACE WEEK 2014
September 15th through 19th is Peace Week and the Crystal Lake family is doing our part to promote a more peaceful society. We have special activities planned daily to promote peace and stop violence. On Wednesday, students will make pledges for peace. On Thursday, students will write peace notes and hang them on the CLM Peace Tree. On Friday, all students will wear their white uniform shirt as a reminder of peace.
PTSA Fall Fundraiser
Fundraiser packets from Yankee Candle and Edda’s Bundt Cakes went home on Friday, September 12 with students. Be sure to order a delicious Bundt Cake for the upcoming holidays and get a Yankee Candle for the smells of the season. Please support your PTSA by participating in the fundraiser.
Student Council Meeting
A Student Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at 4:05PM in room 148. ALL perspective candidates who have turned in their student council officer petition form MUST be in attendance. Invite a friend and please arrange to have transportation at 5:00PM.

PTSA Casual Dress Day
The first PTSA Casual Dress Day will be this Thursday, September 18. If a student pays $1, he/she may wear the Broward County Schools approved dress code clothing. Students must pay at the school store Thursday morning prior to the bell.
